Jasper is one week old today.
We had our baby Jasper Deven a week ago today October 18th at 9:01 a.m.
He weighed in at a wee 6 pounds and 6 ounces and was 20 inches long.
I will share his birth story in another posting as that is a whole other ball o wax.

Its almost surreal to think of us waiting so long for him to be here and now...he finally is!

Today for his first week birthday, we had a special dinner. Matt made some wild boar tenderloin over new potatoes with garlic/onion sauce for us and then we gave Jasper his first official bath and tried on some Halloween looks. Since he is a new member of the family and Halloween is my favorite holiday, I just knew the Great Pumpkin would be a good look for this Halloween baby.

I think I spied one of my pillows and a breast pump. I remember those first few days home with Astrid, I look back at those pictures and don't believe it's her. They grow FAST, enjoy!
