Kime's benefit fundraiser is coming up so please open your heart!

I pilfered this from Kime's blog The Moldy Doily which gives info on her upcoming benefit to raise money for her surgery. When she gives links where people can donate money online and to auctions to support this on Ebay, I will post them but until then, here is the info along with the amazing self-portrait she did of herself wearing her tumor tee:

Thanks to all of you friends and fellow bloggers. For those of you here in L.A. the benefit is going to be OCT 18th (Thurs.) at the ECHO. It will help buffer the blow from the "other half" of my operation- that my health insurance isn't covering. My actual surgery is OCT 11th. Thankfully I have awesome creative friends who all offered to contribute time and talent. Becky STARK and LAVENDER DIAMOND are playing, along with The Winter Flowers, Blank BLue, Animal Magik, plus special surprise guests...maybe ENTRANCE. The Dublab guys are putting it all together. Hit -N- Run will be silkscreening my artwork onto t-shirts the whole night for guests. I think there will be an art auction that night scheduled too. I am getting a lot of my artwork back from various shows.

Don't worry if you are not here on the WEST COAST, we are also planning to start up some auctions on ebay of artwork, t-shirts, things and donated music memorobilia. I will be posting updates for those here, so if you want to help, you can bid on some of my crazy accessories and vintage. I may try to set up a paypal account specially for this event too.

After researching the recovery time of this particular operation- you will all be comforted in knowing that I will be trapped like the movie MISERY in my bed for 3-6 weeks and therefore writing posts hourly...ha ha. I heard that you don't feel completely recovered til week 10 or 12!! WHAT?
I may get a lot of reading and drawing in.

I hope everyone can come to the benefit and pitch in...Kime certainly is worth it and this surgery is necessary. Her tumor is the size of a large orange and must come out.
Blessing to Kime & may the funds pour in:)

Can never have enough lounge wear.

Won this on Ebay last week.
Robe
Robe1
It hasn't arrived yet but its from an estate sale and this silk & lace robe is from 1918 and in great condition!
I can hardly wait to get my paws on it.
I also got a set of 1930's yellow fabric flower celluloid hair combs which have arrived for only $10...a real steal.
My cam is broken right now so I can't take a picture of those for you all right this moment. I can assure you they are quite lovely though and I definitely scored.
Old millinery flowers in great condition are usually pricey.
Yay for Ebay.
