2011 Picture of the day #1

Happy New Year!
It's a new year & one resolution I made is to blog regularly including doing a 365 photo project. I tried this back in 08 and abandoned ship after about 2 months.

Here is Jasper earlier today at our friends' Cat & Stephen's house for a New Year's lucky eating shindig.
He found this marching band style drum and was completely enamored.
We live a few blocks down from a school & regularly take him to watch the drum line practice.
He put this drum round his neck and was marching around trying to twirl the sticks just like he has seen the drum line guys do.
Maybe he will follow in his drum line mama's footsteps.

Haven't blogged in a long while but here is my little man gearing up for Valentine's Day.
I hope everyone is having a great week and is feeling the "love".

Update time: I am officially in the 3rd trimester- wah hoo- and if I haven't posted it here yet, we are having...*drumroll please...a little GIRL!
She will be known as "Pixie" until she makes her debut in 12 short weeks give or take.
Feeling very blessed and happy these days...just need to blog more!

Big Top

We went to Novienne's birthday party today. It was a circus theme so Jasper went in his elephant costume of course.

Everything was so sweet...the babies, the treats, etc.

beautiful fall day

 
 Last weekend was Thanksgiving and we enjoyed just being lazy and mellow. One of the days when the skies were bright blue we went to the park we live near to and enjoyed the day.

Its so nice being here in Altadena and the trees are turning such great colors.
